Boot your Appliance

In this post, which is the last post in the series on how to import YubiRadius, a Free Radius appliance implementing OTP validation, into Xen Open source Hypervisor, we will finally boot our appliance
Well, if you reached this point you are ready to issue the command:

xm create –c /etc/xen/YubiRad.cfg
root@Lithium-Dom0:/etc/xen# xm create -c

Couple of words here.
First you will not get a login prompt here, simply is not in the INIT to allow login at the console. Detach the console with Ctrl-] as you would in a telnet session to go back to the Dom0 prompt
Second to verify if the system is up you can SSH into it by using the IP address configured in the previous step. Change the default root password now!

Hopefully everything goes smoothly and the appliance appears at the IP address of the appliance.
Time for the drink but do not indulge, then you have to configure yubiradius….
